Ways to Support Arch Collaborative This Holiday Season

Article

The holiday season is upon us and our team at Arch Collaborative is already planning how to care for those we serve during this special time of year. Along with many other fantastic nonprofits, Arch Collaborative is participating in some key events in the coming weeks, and we want YOU to have the opportunity to give! We are immensely grateful for O2 Employment Services and their Give Redding endeavor, as well as Community Foundation of the North State and Umpqua Bank to fuel North State Giving Tuesday. Both events provide a wonderful opportunity to practically support local nonprofits, the impact of which is felt throughout the holidays and year-round!

A Heartfelt Thank You

Your past contributions—whether clothing, toiletries, or household goods—have provided comfort and dignity to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, family violence, assault, exploitation, or other significant traumas. Many of our clients arrive at our facilities without the means to provide holiday gifts for their children due to their difficult situations. Your support helps us ensure that they feel valued and cared for during challenging times and throughout the holiday season.

How You Can Help

1. Give Redding (November 15)

Join us for this special event hosted by O2 Employment Services, where you can help raise awareness and show your support for local nonprofits, including Arch Collaborative. Your participation can make a real difference in our community, directly benefiting our clients. Here are the details:

Between the hours of 7a-11a, bring a new toy or nonperishable food item to O2 Employment Services' new office located at 2070 Churn Creek Road, Redding, CA. 96002. Take a moment to connect with fellow supporters and feel free to promote on social media! We can’t wait to see you there!

2. North State Giving Tuesday (December 3)

Active in our region since 2014, thanks to the generous facilitation of Community Foundation of the North State, we are thrilled to participate in North State Giving Tuesday! NSGT focuses on garnering financial support for nonprofits in our region including Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity, and Modoc counties.

Early giving begins on November 19, so mark your calendars! Your financial contributions will help us provide critical services to survivors in our programs, ensuring they receive the support they need to recover and rebuild their lives.

3. Holiday Store and Shop for a Family (December 16)

As the holiday season quickly approaches, we are preparing for our Holiday Store, which will support clients in emergency shelter, transitional housing, and those at our behavioral health clinic. Donations of new items with tags will be provided to clients, allowing them to experience the joy of giving gifts to their children and loved ones during the holidays. Here are the details:

Empower and delight those in need by bringing a new item with tags (ex. new toys, clothes, shoes, socks, pajamas, books, and so on!) to our office at the Sierra Center located at 2250 Benton Drive through December 16.  Drop off items between 8:30a-4:30p. We are excited to see you!

‘A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats’

We encourage the community to support the nonprofit of their choice, whether it’s Arch Collaborative or another incredible organization. We believe that supporting a nonprofit of your choice will benefit the entire community and strengthen the bonds among those working in the nonprofit space. Redding is known for its generosity, and these are three great ways to give back during this special time of year!

Thank you once again for standing with us to support those in our community who need a little extra this holiday season. Your generosity uplifts those we serve at Arch Collaborative and strengthens our community as a whole! Let’s keep the momentum going, and together, we can create a brighter future for all.

For more information on how to donate or get involved, please visit our website or contact us directly. Your support matters, and we are so grateful for your continued kindness.

Community support and understanding are vital to the mission Arch Collaborative, formerly known as One Safe Place and Children’s Legacy Center. The services we provide are more than just resources and temporary refuge; they are a lifeline for individuals and families rebuilding their lives after the devastation of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. By helping to educate individuals about the trauma those we serve endure and the complex journey they face towards healing and stability, we foster a more compassionate community that stands together against abuse.

Your involvement, whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading awareness, directly impacts the lives of those seeking safety and a fresh start. Together, we can be the supportive network that transforms hope into reality, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors knows they are not alone and that brighter days are ahead.
