The Children’s Legacy Center is made possible through donations and public grants.

In 2018, the Children’s Legacy Center was fully prepared to begin a capital campaign.  After the Carr Fire in late summer and the impact on the community as a whole, we made a commitment to utilize outside funding instead of local philanthropic dollars. We felt it essential to prove the concept of the Children’s Legacy Center prior to engaging the community in support of the CLC and its mission to serve the children and youth of our community.

With this new resolve, we worked diligently to research and apply for state and federal grants that aligned with our mission.  We are humbled to report that we received several grants, allowing us to move forward and systematically build our organization.

Though our focus was on state and federal funding, we are profoundly grateful for the generosity of local philanthropists who believed in our dream of creating a better future for the children in our community.
