Job Description

The Children’sLegacy Center (CLC) is seeking a Wraparound Coach to join our team. The role of the Coach is to support the development of the high-fidelity wraparound process by offering feedback regarding strengths and areas of growth through field observation. Through consultation, the Coach will ensure direct service staff build competency to meet high-fidelity wraparound standards. The Coach will provide individual and group coaching, skills assessment, modeling, and documentation review to increase fidelity and build knowledge and skills.

Wraparound services are focused on youth who are at risk of or have been abused throughCommercial Sexual Exploitation and youth currently in the child welfare system and their families.  This role will work closely with our resource families, Wraparound services team, and our Behavioral Health clinicians.

This position reports to the Wraparound Program Manager.

Requirements

·     Bachelor’s Degree and six months of experience in working with children who have serious emotional or behavioral needs, or children who have special needs, including, but not limited to, special medical needs

·     Mastery level experience of and understanding of the roles and functions of the wraparound process

·     Knowledge of culturally competent practices and the ability to demonstrate cultural humility

·     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

·      Bilingual

·      Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of systems of care for diverse youth and families including, child welfare and/or juvenile justice

·      Strong interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Supports the understanding of the Wraparound process, public systems, and community resources

·      Demonstrates how to provide specific services and feedback to direct service staff

·      Provides in the field training by observing and modeling necessary skills for direct service staff

·      Tailors coaching methods to the needs of staff

·      May review staff documentation to ensure staff skills are satisfactory and progressing

·      Provides staff group coaching sessions

·      Provides consultation regarding the skills necessary for each Wraparound role and the different phases of service delivery

Who We Are

The Children’s Legacy Center began in 2016. Our passion is to aid children and youth who have been abused and exploited. We currently achieve this goal by offering forensic interviewing services as a part of our Children’s Advocacy Center. These interviews reduce trauma and help our partner agencies expedite justice for children, youth, and their families. We are now able to build upon this tested and stable foundation and are building out our regional pilot model for exploited children and youth. This model is a diverse, holistic, and far-reaching collection of programs and services that will multiply our impact in the community and beyond. Although each of our team obtains a specific job description, we work collaboratively to develop and expand our organization. Rate of Pay

$22-24/hour, Part to Full Time
